Online attendance on Saturday, 13 May

Under the ‘Learning for the future’ strand, we have selected a prominent keynote speaker and several presentations for you to watch remotely from early morning until evening. Check out below what we have on stock for you and book your virtual seat until 7 May.

Keynote speaker

Many of you know Graham Black (UK) as a must-read author for museum studies. Graham is known for his progressive approach to curation. His provoking contribution will highlight the importance of participation and inclusion in heritage that is not only urged by conventions and politics, but also increasingly expected by people themselves. His recent exhibition was short-listed for the Museums and Heritage ‘Temporary Exhibition of the Year’ award.

Broadcasted programme

We have lined up several most relevant presentations from several countries, from Europe and the USA that will share theoretical findings and practical experiences.

·        Elena-Maria Cautiș (Italy): The ‘interpretation’ dilemma within the Faro Convention and its link to sustainability thinking

·        Katia Dianina (USA): Whose Heritage? Contested sites and memory wars in the post-socialist public space
